Closing Down Sale

After a year and a bit of doing the Brighton Arts Blog I have decided to give it a rest for a bit. It has been interesting posting about all the things that take place in this town but when it comes down to it, no one was really listening. If you do miss me then post a comment and I might rethink. Otherwise it's a case of "Au Revoir".

Hi - well, I've been reading it. How about contributing your efforts to a larger site? I'm thinking of the site I edit, www.artistsandmakers.com - we're always looking for more content and we have lots of readers...

Hi,
Sad to see you are giving up. Well I understand that not having many readers is hard, but if it can be of any comfort, I really enjoyed browsing your blog and learning about what happens in Brighton. As a new inhabitants, I think your work is relevant for new comer. All the best!

Hi Shaun,

I'm the founder of Brighton Culture, and have been following your site for a while now and meant to drop you a line, now seems the best time.

We've got a team of 3, including an editor, coder (myself) and regular writer as well as 5 others who contribute from time to time. Site gets around 4000 visits a month, 1000 to the galleries listing page, so you would be heard!

I'm currently looking for someone to manage the listing and reviewing of galleries and exhibitions. I can't pay but can offer recognition and entrance to opening nights. Drop me a line if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with the editor.

Mark

Well, looks like you can't go - or at least, you'll have to go and write somewhere else! We get 500+ visitors a day at www.artistsandmakers.com, and would like more Brighton coverage, so email me if you'd like to get writing...
