Reproduced Sound 24

The Institute of Acoustics' Reproduced Sound Conference, now in its 24th consecutive year, will take place at the Barcelo Brighton Old Ship Hotel. Reproduced Sound conferences represent the cutting edge of modern audio and acoustics, in an informal environment that allows consultants, manufacturers, contractors and end users to mingle and share insight and information. The presentations and papers bring people back to Reproduced Sound year after year after year.

It features talks on things like "Timbral correction of loudspeaker systems based on measured reverberation time", "Acoustic geometry sculptor – a computer program for optimising room surfaces" and "Real world line array optimisation".

An Artist Called Imbue

Found a cheeky video on the web by a local Brighton artist called Imbue. He has taken a couple of old sweet dispenser, labelled them Heroin and Cocaine and placed them on the Palace Pier. No one actually tries buying it, but it certainly gets some attention.
