Hot on the heels of the Adur and Brighton Festivals, we now have the Eastbourne Festival to look forward to. This is two weeks of culture taking place in various venues around Eastbourne from the 15th to the 30th or March. It features open houses, exhibitions, comedy, dance, music, theatre and a whole lot more. I have had a quick look through the program and while it doesn't have the big names that come to Brighton, it still has a lot of varied and interesting stuff on offer. Radio 4 will be recording an episode of "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" and Colin Dexter will be talking about Inspector Morse. It is as good an excuse as any for a day trip there as any.
